Sushant Singh Rajput’s Dil Bechara generated more than 95 million views in 24 hours, according to reports. we Know that theatres remain shut due to the novel corona virus crisis in the world, the film released digitally, on Disney + Hotstar on July 24. When compared with theatrical release, If the film would have released in theatres, it would have got almost opening Rs 2000 crore but due to crisis, it was not possible. For instance, if the average price of a movie ticket in India is taken Rs 200, then the opening day collections would be around to Rs 1900 crore.
Dil Bechara marks as Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film because he is no more. The actor died by suicide at morning of June 14 and an investigation to determine the cause of his suicide was depression. Several Bollywood personalities have been questioned in connection with the case.
Coming back to Dil Bechara collection, this film was marked Sanjana Sanghi’s Bollywood debut and is directed by Mukesh Chhabra. It was the first movie his movie. It is an official remake of the 2014 Hollywood blockbuster, ‘The Fault In Our Stars’.
The film’s trailer also broke records and generated more than 4.8 million likes in 24 hours, beating the record of Avengers: Endgame.
Sushant Singh Rajput is no longer with us, but his memory will always remain. A biopic on the actor is also being made with his look a like, Sachin Tiwari, in the lead role.
